The Shade's eyes left her blade. Now he was ordering from his offices. Vavrin smirked at his orders, but decided that she had spent enough time toying around with him. This would certainly not be the that they saw of each other. Far from it.
Vavrin sheathed her sword. "Very well. But before I leave, grant me one thing: your name." Her curiousity got the better of her. She wanted to know what to call the man who had left a not so subtle reminder of himself on her favourite blade.

The man did not smile, and his face stayed hard. Finally the damned shade was leaving, not that he couldn't put up with it. He just wanted to let his council members go home, relax and recover from what had just happened. Ah, and he was sure he would see the shade in the future. Their blades would one day meet again.
Raylborn sheathed his sword also and crossed his arms to stare at the shade. "My name? I thought you would know. No different, it is Lord Raylborn. And yours?" He asked, curiously raising a brow. If he had to fight again, he would like to know what his enemies name is.

"Raylborn," the name fell from her lips like hot venom as the Shade inclined her head contemptuously towards the man. She straightened to her full height after a moment and pushed aside the curtain of hair that veiled her eyes. "I am Vavrinec."
Now that they had exchanged names properly, the Shade gave one last look at the man of royalty. "It has been a pleasure. I look forward to spilling your blood again soon." And with that, she turned on her heel and walked out of the office.

"Vavrinec..." He muttered quietly to himself. It was a name he would not forget. He watched the shade stride out of his office, and smiled slightly that his council was finally safe. He looked around at the faces of them. Most of their faces were pale, with big scared eyes. He sighed slightly and waved his hand towards the door. "This meeting is dismissed. I think that is enough for one day. We will continue to...discuss this on a further date. You should all rest after what just happened, it was quite unexpected. And I have work to do, so I bid you adieu." He walked towards the door and headed out into the quiet hallway and without a backwards glance headed to his office.

Andvari almost scowled except that she was relieved that she could go. 'There will be rumors flying, mark my words...' she thought with a gloomy disposition. Rumors seemed to cause so many problems these days. Shaking her head she laid her make-shift club down with the mess of the broken chair and headed for the large doors. She was very glad she didn't have any other duties today; Vari wanted nothing more than a hot cup of tea in her room, and perhaps a nap as well. "Fare thee well." She said politely with a slight curtsy as she passed Raylborn and took the stairs to the floor below.
