Hey everyone, nice to meet you. I just recently finished reading the Inheritance Cycle and couldn't help but search for an Eragon RPG. After a thorough 5 minutes of checking sites, each giving me more and more disappointment, I finally found myself here. I look forward to RPing with you all ^_^

Hey, the name is Brenton Bromsson, one of your friendly admins on the site. Or more accurately I am the assistant admin on here. Lemme give you a brief rundown of what this site is and how to get around or expect. First we'll start with the fact that this is obviously an RPG site for the Inheritance Cycle based in an AU of right before the Battle of Uru'baen. The world has expanded and there are new areas that have been explored such as the Northern Islands where strange creatures live such as Changelings, Werewolves, Mountain Rocs, and Greyfolk. To the East of the Hadarac is a whole new Empire that is very little known of where a king rules a land of assassins. The assassins have expanded through Alagaesia as well and there are outposts in the Beor Mountains, Du Weldenvarden, the Hadarac, and then Aragrael City which is where the Assassin King lives.

The Queen, Islanzadi, was murdered by Galbatorix in front of her only son as of now and left him as king because Arya was missing at the time. He is currently fighting with his darker side that grew when he was a servant of the Empire but this is Brenton Bromsson we're talking about. Werewolves roam through the Empire as Galbatorix's elite assassins and he has two children that lead his army and his other affairs in his stead. Risen from the ashes of the old order came the Branches which also awoke five Guardians that are the most powerful beings alive. Unfortunately in the process it awoke the magic of the Nether and brought out demonic weapons such as the Blade of the Nether. The land is falling into disarray but still people fight to keep it in check so they can avoid mass destruction. Riders exist from the original Riders and they have been hiding, now coming out of hiding to fight either for the Empire or the Varden or they remain neutral.

Now then...the site is kinda on a low point right now where few people are posting but I hold out hope that it will change and everything will be good. Well, Brenton kinda covered everything. All that's left for me to say is welcome, I hope you enjoy your time here. I joined a long while ago for the same reason as you. It's so hard to find an active Eragon RP. As Brenton said, we deviated from the main plotline of Eragon from the Battle for Belatona. We plan on playing out the ending of the Varden-Empire civil war differently, too, and after that the RPing won't stop as new things happen. And here I was thinking I'd just finished school so there'd be no more essays. -sigh- Haha, just joking ^_^ Thanks again for the welcome and thanks Brenton for the long and thorough explanation.
