Nepherion sat in the white sand of the coast. His face stuck in awe as he gazed at the shimmering white creature. It's reptilian tail curled up into a small spiral at the tip. The white fur that traveled up the spine of the beast to it's neck looked to be slightly jolted as it stood up. Nepherion held tight to the wrist of his left hand, the silver mark still burning. Still hesitant of the small dragon, he slowly brought himself to his feet, analyzing it's subtle movements. Than suddenly a feeling not of his own, but seemly as if it was, melded with his mind, quickly established the fact that it wasn't dangerous.
His thoughts and feelings were suddenly not his own. A ocean of emotions flowed into him, all of them urged him to calm down and accept the small dragon as a comrade, friend, and most of all his dragon. Nepherion, now quelled by the sincere emotions of the dragon, sat down in the sand Indian style " So your're my friend right ? I shouldn't have anything to worry about ?" With a small and adorable tilting of his head the dragon lifted it's right hind leg and scratched the side of its head. The dark slant in it's maroon eyes looked at Nepherion as if the answer should have been obvious. Of course he wasn't going to hurt his new rider.
Nepherion sat there with the young dragon, engulfing himself in his emotions and at the same time sharing his own confusion with him. After three hours of doing this, the sun was finally raised at the peak of it's ascension. Looking at the Dragon, Nepherion thought Now how will I sneak you into town, without getting caught... It's going to be hard white one.. He wasn't exactly sure why, but his voice held undeniable fondness. A short hmm of thought escaped his throat as he banged his mind to devise a plan . He really wanted to bring the dragon home, something refused to let him leave the beast.

Caspian was more lost than ever before. He had lost his family only a few months ago and fate had thrown him into the ranks of the Varden. Unlike most who joined the Varden he had no desire to fight for their cause, let along fight at all. The only thing Caspian wanted was what he couldn't have, his life back, his family in the little town of Cantos.
Instead here he was running again, this time from the Varden. While they meant him no harm he was not one of them and did not intend to stay with them. Not more than a fortnight ago he had left them under the cover of night. He had no money and no destination. Both which posed a problem.
Leaving his horse, Destrier, tied to a tree just outside of town had been easy. Making his dragon stay with his steed had proved impossible. The little golden dragon followed him everywhere. According to the Varden he was her rider, but that meant nothing to Caspian. He knew too little of the Riders to realize the importance of the dragon he called an annoyance. The best he could do was impress on her to stay hidden in the shadows. That would have to suffice.
At his side hung a golden blade of master craftsmanship, which of course he wasn't very good at using. The swords name? Naegling. Again the significance of that name escaped Caspian. He knew nothing of the nature of the blade nor the power contained in it's gem that Ormis and Glaedr had put there.
His purpose in Teirm had been to sell the golden sword. Surely it would fetch a decent price. But now that he was here he was starting to doubt that choice. The blade was magnificent and it did match the baby dragon that followed him. Plus if he ever did learn to use it properly it could be a mighty weapon.
Deep in thought contemplating whether to sell it or not, he found himself wandering down to the sandy shore. He pulled out the Naegling from it's sheath. It slid soundlessly out and gleamed brightly in the sunlight.
The golden baby dragon that had followed him into town broke cover and flew to his shoulders. Caspian was not surprised, but more annoyed. The dragon's thoughts constantly pushed their way into his, and she told him her every move and emotion. All the communication between them was emotion and images. The dragon could not yet speak any language, nor did she have a name. Caspian lifted up the sword to her again, as he had the past few days. Liquid gold eyes looked at him before the baby dragon touched the sword with her nose. As soon as she touched it the blade seemed to glow with an inner light. It was then Caspian realized he couldn't sell it.
Sliding Naegling back into the sheath he realized they were not along. He saw someone sitting in the sand a little bit of a ways down the beach. Before he even told her to hide, the golden dragon jumped down from his shoulders and tried to hide in a few strands of seaweed. Great, thought Caspian sarcastically. Gold scales hidden by green seaweed. That's not obvious. He could only hope Nepherion hadn't seen his dragon.
Caspian froze when he saw a tail wrapped around Nepherion's wrist, and then the dragon itself. The dragon was young, if not a baby. His own dragon was only slightly bigger than this rider's. Dragon, he said directing the thought at the golden dragon covered in seaweed. Her head popped up, geeze he really needed to give her a name. He couldn't call her dragon forever. He sent her an image of Nepherion and his dragon. Without hesitation the golden dragon lept forward and raced towards them excited to see one of her own kind.
"Dragon--you--stop," Caspian stammered before chasing after her. Yeah, he really needed to get a name for her. The golden dragon reached Nepherion before Caspian could reach her. She placed to forepaws on his leg to get a better view of his dragon.

Nepherion sat with his hands pressed hard against the white grains of the sand between his legs. As he pushed down with more strength, he could feel himself losing balance and tilting over, but he would quickly loosen his muscles whenever he was about to fall over. He smiled at the dragon, he was unusually inattentive, his slander snout looked towards the east of them, down the sandy coast where an approaching figure would come into view.
Startled at the sudden appearance of another human, Nepherion would thrust his arms out towards the dragon and tuck the young-ling deep into his gray shirt. The white fur that trailed it's back concealed the pale spikes that pricked the surface of Nepherion's stomach. With a silent wince the sudden weight of a golden reptile pouncing of his leg caused him to let out a shriek of astonishment. He fell over onto the sand, the pearl white dragon tumbled out and lifted it's lengthy neck in response to the newcomers. It's maroon eyes looking daringly at the golden dragon on his rider.
" Hey ! Come back... Don't reveal yourself... " A sigh of utter hopelessness escaped his nostrils as he seen the guy coming, sure to of have seen the immaculate white dragon. Nepherion was surprised at his own reaction, but seeing the new dragon was of little surprise to him. He walked over beside his now standing dragon, he trampled around the gold newcomer, surrounding her with playful and curious acts. From sniffing at her golden scales to picking towards her tail with small nibbles.
As the alabaster reptile explored her, images and emotions from him begin to fill Nepherion's own mental area. Images of the golden dragon up close played in his mind like a scene in front of him. The dragon's new curiosity flooded inside him and quickly overwhelmed his own curiosity of the beast himself. A little shaken by the experience, Nepherion gripped his snow white hair and begin to shake his head, trying desperately to cut or severe the cord pouring all of it into him. Out of his need and desire to want it to end, a outburst bellowed through the coast. " Can you just stop ! " With that the white dragon stopped it's movements, lifting it's furred neck towards him. His maroon eyes and strong bond expressed his feelings of apology and sadness. It all sunk into Nepherion.
The dragon's hurt was his and the sadness that his outburst had caused him was worse than he thought. Hoping to reassure the dragon, Nepherion softy smiled towards the dragon. " Sorry white one..." A small chuckle was released as the dragon showed a cheerful expression through his rough features.
The dragon outstretched it's white wings, the thin membrane showed the thick blue veins underneath before he folded them back onto his side. With a poorly developed roar the dragon rushed over to Nepherion's feet. It was than that Nepherion looked over to the other human, his head motioned towards the golden dragon while he spoke. " Is that your dragon ? Can you tell me what's going on, cause I've just met this little guy earlier ? These images keep flowing into my head, I'm not sure If I can handle it all. This thing is amazing and scary all at the same time. I'm not sure how to re-act to all of this. " His questions and statements all poured out onto each other. He wasn't sure of the balance, he hadn't even known there was sides he could choose. All he knew was that he had this bond with the dragon beside him and there was no going back. It was non-refundable, that much he knew for sure.

The golden dragon was rather surprised by Nepherion's reaction to her. She was just interested in the other dragon and meant no harm. Thin gold wings flared out in surprise when the man fell over. It didn't take long for her to recover and the sight of the white dragon made her forget about Nepherion. She was just as curious about the white dragon as he was about her. She growled at him playfully as he trampled around her. She returned nearly all the gestures the white dragon did such as sniffing at him. However, she didn't like her tail being nipped at and kept pulling it away, sometimes turning around to prevent him from nipping it.
At Nepherion's outburst the golden dragon froze, partially because the white dragon had and partially because the tone of his voice was unmistakable. She backed away a few paces and her wings were tucked protectively and tightly by her sides. Resisting the urge to follow the white dragon she stayed put.
A tsunami of emotions flooded from her to Caspian, fear, curiosity, caution, among others from his gold dragon. He nearly tripped when his dragon sent him an image from her point of view. It was difficult to walk when the point of view changed. Sending an annoyance of having received it to the dragon seemed to stop any more forth coming images. Without the added input of emotions and images he was able to pay more attention to Nepherion. Both he and Nepherion looked nearly the same age, and their dragons were relatively young. It was almost as if Caspian was seeing a mirror image of his own situation.
"Err, yeah she's my dragon," he said somewhat uncertainly. He wasn't sure he wanted to admit she was his. He had hid that fact for so long, to admit it to someone else just felt wrong. As he bent over to pick up the gold dragon, she darted behind Nepherion her eyes on the white dragon. Sighing Caspian stood up to answer the onslaught of questions. He wasn't going to look like a fool and run around chasing the gold dragon. "I'm not sure I can really tell you all that much. I hardly know anything about...this," he said gesturing at their dragons. He was only a farm boy more or less and had never heard tale of riders until his town had been attacked by one. Riders to him were to be feared and dreaded, and now he was one. Should he now fear himself?
"I don't know if there is a better way but to stop the overload of images I usually just let...goldie there...know I don't want it. It only works sometimes though," he said. Man, goldie? really he needed a name for her. "I've only been with my dragon for about a week...I only know a little bit about this from what the Varden Riders told me." His knowledge on the topic was extremely limited, to barely nothing. The day before he had run away from the Varden, he had been informed of his new status as a Rider and what it meant. Aside from that he knew nothing.

Nepherion's hand raised to the back of his head, scratching it gently while swaying his pure hair from out the way. " That's not really helpful. Two fools are no better than one. " He said looking up at the large wall that was the town's defenses. With a short hmm of thought, Nepherion looked at the guy with his left eye closed. " Oh almost forgot to introduced myself. Names Nepherion Coldfire. Son of Onyx and Upheria Coldfire. " With that his hand extended towards the dark haired boy. He hadn't notice until now but he looked about the same age as himself.
The scales of the white dragon reflected the light of the sun in a dazzling display of beauty. He ran around Nepherion's legs, once again transmitting the emotions that it couldn't hide into him. The young Dragon was too young, to even know how cut off it's emotions and so was Nepherion. The alabaster dragon's scales were smooth, his talons whiter than his hide and the fur that lined the neck of it's head to it's tail was a dull gray. The dragon trampled around like a new born pup towards the edge of water, it's maroon eyes looking high into the sky at a seagull. The image formed into Nepherion's cerulean eye, by his judgement the seagull had to be more than thirty meters in the air. So how could the small dragon see it. The feeling of an empty stomach soon hit the both of them and this time he could barely distinguish the difference. Was he actually hungry ? Or was the dragon hungry ? He hadn't eaten since yesterday morning, so he wouldn't be surprised if he was.
If the newcomer had shaken his hand, Nepherion would be drawn towards the coasts water, his head looking around for any new people like the guy and his dragon coming along the coast. As he looked into the water, he tried something he was hesitant about but felt was possible. He attempted to reach out to the dragon's mind as he had him, using his feelings and images. Are you hungry ? I'm not going to pretend like I know what you eat, all I can tell you is their is plenty of fish in the sea in front of you. The dragon looked towards Nepherion as if understanding every word he had spoken, than suddenly the dragon ran into the water and with a fluent dive swam underneath the surface. As he dove further down, the images of unfiltered blue flushed his vision and suddenly a fish appeared in front of him and was snatched up into a row of jagged teeth. Nepherion waited patiently on the coast as the small dragon's neck broke the water's surface and revealed that he was the beast that had taken the fish by surprise. It shook the water of it's scales and fur before completely swallowing the fish whole, bones and all. He had to admit, these new connections were fascinating.
With that, Nepherion looked over his shoulder with puzzled look. " Wait, did you say the Varden. Have you met Eragon ? " Saying this his eye widen with excitement, hoping he had indeed met him. Eragon was world wide known and though Nepherion had been rarely new and probably denser than any village idiot. He knew all about Eragon and Saphira. The world's new generate rider, the very first ones and now look at him. He was one as well.

Nandon walked through the streets his tunic dirty and filled with holes his features where now rounded out by a particular wordy spell which nandon could barely remember. He had been asigned to spy on teirm and report back to the varden as soon as possible... That instantly seemed hard but he had gotten into the city easily enough disguised as a refugee from beltona. As he walked through the streets his dwarf staff sword strapped to his back it instantly warned any would be thiefs that this man was armed and dangerous. Slowly nandon walked through the streets studying guard routes and where theyw here and when. he had taken the liberty to remember each guards name learn there habits and other curiositys about them. It had taken nandon about a month to do this but he was almost ready for his first report back to the varden which seemed to excite him. As nandon's mind came back to him he realised he was on the white sandy beach that was near teh farthest edge of teirm. As he rounded a corner he gasped. There stood two riders and a dragon sitting there engaging in a casual chat from what he could see as the two dragons played around one white and one golden... Nandons instincts told him to stay back but his curiosity got the better of him and he slowly walked forward more focused on the dragons than the riders. As he reached the dragons he held out his hand to the white one to let it sniff him then he looked over at the riders and said "Beautiful dragons... You have no idea how lucky you are."

As quick as his question exited his mouth, he once again felt the alabaster dragon touch his mind with feelings of caution and guarding, but at the same time with questions of his bravery. Nepherion quickly turned to the right of him where the sandy beach led up to the guarded city of Terim. He almost instantly cursed his luck. He had not even seconds earlier, looked around for other humans that may sneak up on the pair. The white dragon lowered his snout and raised his furred tail as if the being in front of them was of dangerous intent. With the man's quick approach, Nepherion was forced to stumble back away from him. It had took the other guy atleast five minutes to get down there from the point where he could see him, but this man. He seemed to run with haste of a steed.
Be careful ! Don't let him touch you. With that spoken to the dragon's mind, he instantly pushed back with his hind legs, landing back to the ground beside his rider. Sand spurred into the air as the white dragon flapped it's wings twice in a show of strength. Nepherion's white hair dipped in between his farrowed brows. He was upset with himself for a multitude of reasons, one he hadn't kept a better eye out and two he had let someone once again see his dragon. The boy's arm tensed up in preparation of his brawl, if this man would try and take the dragon away. " Luck doesn't have anything to do with it. Destiny brought us together. " His hands clenched into a tight fist. The scales of his dragon seemed to dance on the water's reflection beside him. An array of proud emotions poured from the dragon and into Nepherion's mind. " Are you after my dragon ? " Nepherion's voice resonated with shaky strength and raw guts. His intentionally conceal his left palm at his side, so that the silvery mark on his hand wouldn't raise any more suspicion, not that a dragon hadn't raised enough on it's own.

Nandon looked at the pair a slightly hurt expersion on his face as the dragon leaped away no doupt from a mental comand from its master "No... I would never hurt a dragon.." Nandon said looking at the man who had basicly insulted him with the question "And i merely meant that you are lucky to have a partnership so few could ever hope to have." Looks at the dragon again then says "Whats his or her's name by the way." Nandon would then procede to hold his hand out once again to let the dragon sniff it he was determined to get the dragon to like him he was a elf of course and elves always love dragons

Nepherion looked at the man's sadden expression, a look of confusion decorated his face while he listen to the man's words. They seemed honest, though when it came to things of this manner, Nepherion has learned to trust his gut more than anything else. His race was as flickering as a candle midst a storm of randomly blown breezes. The white haired boy looked down at the youngling Dragon, wishing for his thoughts on the situation. As if he had too though. The dragon poured his images and feelings onto Nepherion. Giving him an array of soften emotions, followed with a dull red gaze that caused the two to stare at each other for a minute.
When the two finally parted their eyesight, Nepherion would whisper warm words to the dragon. Be careful okay. I don't entirely trust the guy yet. The pure white dragon gave a calm nod and cheerful smile as he approached the stranger's hand slowly. Sniffing the palm, he let out a warm, moist breathe from his nostrils. After a few more inhales and exhales the dragon turned towards Nepherion, touching his mind with the emotions of comfort and safety. The boy let out a sigh as he lax his muscles and looked towards the sky. " He doesn't have a name yet. I figured, when he could talk, he'd tell me. " Bring his eyes back towards the male he tilted his head to get a better look at his face. " No one followed you did they ? "

Nandon smiles as the dragon lets him touch it slightly then he says "No..." Then he releases the magic that had made him look like a man and a elf face is revealed "And from what i understand of dragons You choose a name then they agree with you on it or disagree..." Smiles at the dragon Nandon had done much research on dragons when he was young they had always fascinated him and he had always longed to meet one. sits down beside the man who had been asking the questions. "I wish some day i could be a rider.... I hear its wonderfull ." Nandon says a slight gleaming in his eyes as he pictures himself as a rider. "Thats another reason i said your lucky..." nandon then sets his dwarf sword staff next to him though within easy reach

Caspian had not noticed Nandon until he had spoken. He didn't have any time to answer Nepherion's inquiry to what his own name was. He looked at Nandon skeptically when the spell faded to reveal and elf face. Magic was kinda cool, but at the same time Caspian didn't desire it no more than he did becoming a Rider.
It seemed like few elves served the Empire so by deduction he assumed Nandon couldn't be with the Empire, but if he were with the Varden.....if he were would he try to make Caspian go back? After all he had ran away from the Varden with his dragon. He had seen no signs of pursuers but that didn't mean there were not any.
His golden dragon seemed completely at ease and unworried. Was it innocence or did she instinctively trust everyone? If it was the later that could be a problem. "Lucky?" he asked jumping into the conversation now. "I don't want to be a Rider," he growled. If Nandon wanted to be a rider couldn't he give the golden dragon to him instead? He didn't understand that it didn't work like that, but no sooner had he thought it then a torrent of emotions hit him from the golden dragon. She was hurt by his thoughts and refused to leave him even if she could've. The emotions stopped Caspian from saying anything more as he tried to sort though both his and his dragon's emotions.
His hand absently slid down to rest on the hilt of Naegling. Whether he liked it or not he was a Rider and he couldn't not run from that nor change it. He might not know anything about dragons but he had to learn now if he was to become a Rider. He would learn of the legacy of the sword too, he knew his dragon valued it and so had the Varden, but he knew not why.

Nandon did not know who this man was who had jumped into the conversation. he had left the varden before whoever this man was had left. so he merely assumed that he was a rider and nothing more. Nandon looked at the sword and his eyes widdened in suprise as he saw naegling "Where did you get Oromis- elda's sword..." Nandon asked his eyes still wide with shock "And You do not see how lucky you are? to have someone who loves you despite anything you may do... who can understand everything about you... To not see that as lucky..." Nandon trailed off uncertainly. "I am nandon by the way..." Nandon said still reeling from the man saying he did not want to be a rider... If this man had Oromis-elda's sword he must not know of the vast energy stored within it... energy that came from over 100 years of elves pouring there strength into the golden blade. Nandon thought to himself and if this man had oromis-elda's sword what does that mean and how did he get it...

Caspian was confused by Nandon's sudden interest in his sword. Yes it was beautifully crafted and of an unusual color compared to traditional swords, but he saw no reason beyond that for the elf's interest. He glanced at the sword and the golden gem embedded in the pommel. He did not know of the power it contained nor could he access it even if he did know of it. Caspian had yet to learn of his sudden inheritance to use magic as all Riders could.
"Ormis-elda?" he repeated, clearly he had no idea who Oromis was. Nor did he understand how 'lucky' he was. To him the dragon was just an animal, strange animal but an animal nonetheless. "I'm Caspian," he said. He contemplated explaining how he had got the sword but was worried Nandon might make him return to the Varden. The elf had made no attempt to do so yet, and his dragon's confidence made him doubt that outcome. "This sword? The Varden gave it to me shortly after my dragon hatched. Who is Oromis?"

He growled slightly not mad at caspian but the varden for stealing a elfish artifact from a rider..."Oromis-elda was Eragon Shadeslayers teacher.." nandon muttered back in slight shock he did not know this "That is his sword... They where killed over gilead during our battle of fenister..." Nandon muttered in slight hatred as he though of murtagh slaying the wise elf "And pleasure to meet you caspian " Nandon said as he looekd abck and saw the golden dragon and smiled... "Although i supose it is fitting.... Glaedr Oromis-elda's dragon Was golden also... What his or her name?" Nandon asked curiously

Caspian wasn't sure what to make of Nandon's less than pleased reaction. He was only a farm boy who knew little outside his own village. He had learned more in his time with the Varden than during his whole life on matters such as elves and the ongoing war. "Oromis was a Rider then?" he asked to clarify. It only made sense that a Rider would teach another rider.....which was why the Varden had been interested in him. Had he stayed he would've been taught by a Rider.
He had only heard briefly of the battle of Fenister and had heard that a Rider was killed in it, but he did not make the connection to the sword now in his possession. He felt so full of questions, and curiosity. But he was fearful at the same time. So this Oromis' Dragon had been the same color as his? "Her name is....well I don't know. She doesn't have a name yet. I've just sorta been calling her goldie lately but she doesn't really like it when I call her that," he said.
"How did Oromis die?" he asked. " Who killed him? I thought Riders were unstoppable."

Smiles at the millions of questions pouring from the rider... "I will answer these questions now... but let us go somewhere else to answer the rest." Nandon said smiling as he gestured to the open ness of the area "Yes... Oromis-elda was a rider... and that is... or was his sword.." Nandon said answering the first question "And yes... i can imagine her not liking being called "Goldie.." nandon said and looked at the dragon winking slyly "Oromis was slain by murtagh kingkiller... Who atatcked him when a seizure which was a condition he had... not all riders have... hit him..." nandon said angerly as he remembered hearing the news "And no... riders may be extremely powerfull and ahve dragons to aid them... but you can still slip a sword between teher ribs... and they bleed just teh same." After saying this Nandon stood up... Muttering the spell which would change his facial features back to those of a human then gestured for the two riders to follow him "Oh and im going to render your dragons invisible so they dont draw attention... " nandon muttered a quick spell and the dragons disappeared though just from site then he gestured for the two to follow him as he walked back towards the city strapping his dwarf sword staff back on to his back

Nepherion looked at his dragon, speaking to him using their bond again. So I have to give you a name huh ?... How about Pearl. The dragon look at him with an unimpressed gaze before expressing his dislike with the name through his feelings. Nepherion than listed a bunch a names one by one, names that he thought were cool or traditional. Names that he believed would describe the Dragon perfectly. Each one though the dragon shot down and at the same time as like infant like could care little of. If he was angry, Nepherion wouldn't of noticed, not even his feelings betrayed a hint of annoyance or irritation from his Rider's dorky names.
Nepherion's barrage of names lasted over five minutes until he finally let out a sigh and raised an eyebrow towards his partner. Fine... I give up for now. I do hope we don't have to speak with emotions and images forever though. It's get exhausting having to take in your feelings like this. Nepherion placed his left hand on his neck as he rolled it, causing the bones to crack in response. The skin on his neck felt the silvery swirl on his palm and he almost instantly wanted to move it away. The marked skin felt weird against his own. He removed his hand, silently looking over the mark. How weird. It appeared as soon as I touched him. He looked pass his palm and towards the dragon that was now vaguely looking up at the sky. Realizing now just how beautiful he was, not that his lean draconian body had not already accomplished that. Than abruptly Nepherion widen his eyes. Was the dragon also listening in on these thoughts as well. The thoughts that were meant to be his own. It worried him for a second that he might not ever get the privacy he had always cherished. The one things that was truly his.
With a worried expression he clenched his left hand in front of his face, letting out short, irritated sighs from his nose. Attempting to toss the crippling feeling from him, he turned towards the others and followed them as they begin to leave. The white dragon walked close behind him, sharing his emotions once more with his rider. Nepherion held his eyes shut. It's not your fault. I'm just not use to sharing my mind with anyone but myself. He said casually. Though he tried to assure the dragon, he still continued to feel his guilt and slight feeling of not being wanted. Nepherion took a deep breathe as he tried to place the words together. Really, I want you with me. I'll just have to adjust is all. Sharing my mined with a being that can only communicate with random images and feelings is difficult. But I'll just have to get use to it... Won't I. Nepherion looked down towards the dragon, his thin lips curving out to make a smile and the emotions he shared with the dragon confirmed he was being sincere.
His walk with them slowed to a stop as the man mentioned making the dragons invisible. Nepherion once against felt anxiety, he still hadn't entirely trusted the guy. As the dragon's disappeared, Nepherion reached out to his mentally as he had before on the beach, than with a quick response of a warm, compassionate, full y devoted feeling. He knew the dragon was still there. The boy smiled as he swayed his hair slightly from his vision back to it's rightful place between his dark brows before turning to the other rider. " Can you still feel your dragon with you ? " Sorta getting an understanding of his relationship with his dragon, he would understand the kid flipping out if his had suddenly disappeared too.

Nandon walks through the streets the two riders in tow bobbing and weaving through the crowded streets untill he finally reaches a old husked out building that was in the richer part of the district next to a qaint little shop called "Angela's Herbs" Under which said "Closed." nandon walked into the house which had once belonged to jeod and walked towards the office. he lit a small lamp then sat down behind the desk before releasing the spells which held the two dragons invisible then nandon once again returns his facial features to that of a elf. Then quickly sets his sword staff aside and says "Now ask away and i shall answer."

Silis
A female black cat sat on the edge of one of the streets of Teirm, looking around with her sharp green eyes. And this wa no ordinary cat. No, she was strangely large for a cat and her claws were unusually long. Her tail lashed back and forth as she looked around the city. Teirm, one of the Empire's cities. To her, it might as well would have been cursed.
Silis was a werecat of the Varden, and she only knew one other werecat who could stand to visit Teirm. He was a werecat who was companion of Angela, another Varden member. She had never really spoken to him before, but for some reason people respected him. He had to be good in some way, and he was good with riddles. Most werecats were, the problem was Silis wasn't like most werecats. She had grown up with a family of elves.
Silis's right ear twitched as she recalled her past. It was not something she liked to ponder on often, but yet it was her past. It was somethif she would have to deal with the rest of her life. This is silly. The werecat thought to herself. She shouldn't keep thinking about something so incredibly pointless. She should be going to roam the streets, or better yet spying on the Empire soldiers. Silis grinned as she thought of that. The soldiers were too mindless to realize that she was not a normal cat. Even if they did suspect her as a werecat, there wasn't much they could do. Her claws seemed pretty threatening to then anyways.
Silis stood up and stretched for a moment. The sun shown down on her black fur, making it feel like it was burning, but she ignored it. After many years of life she had gotten use to that. It was almost like an old friend, even if it did irritate her. The black cat began to slowly pad down the streets of Teirm, looking around.

Caspian soaked in Nandon's answers and took care to remember them. He may not have wanted to be a Rider, but he was one. So he might as well learn all he could. Not that it meant he had any loyalty to the Varden. No he did not share their cause.
He thought about Nandon's words about Riders still being able to be injured and die like anyone else. If that were true then why was his town so helpless when a Rider had attacked it. Maybe it had to do with how powerful Riders were. Yes that had to be it. No one had been powerful enough to stop him. But now Caspian had the chance to become strong enough. If not for anyone else, he would become a Rider to protect his home village, and he would use his power to find his family, that was if they were still alive. The problem was he didn't know how to use his power or do any of the Rider stuff. He would have to learn. How much did Nandon know? Enough to teach him everything? Or would he have to find a Rider to teach him. When the elf rendered his golden dragon invisible he was startled by it. She was there but not there, it was unnatural and he didn't really like it. He nodded in answer to Nepherion's question. Yes he could still feel his dragon but he couldn't see her. The more he thought about it the more it bothered him. It was strange he had grown so used to having her around it almost scared him to have her 'gone.'
Without a word he followed Nandon through the streets. He knew the golden dragon was following him, but he kept looking back to look for her. Each time he looked nothing was there. Only her presence in his mind told him she was there. The action of him repeatedly looking back drew a bit of attention before he realized he shouldn't keep looking for her.
He paused and fell behind when he saw a black cat sitting near the edge the street. The cat looked strangely familiar. He had meet Silis at the Varden feast but he had never seen her cat form and thus did not make the connection. He assumed the cat was just a normal cat and hurried to catch up to Nandon and Nepherion.
Once inside the building he pulled up a chair to sit on. He was relieved when his dragon seemed to re-appear. She jumped into his arms as if to comfort him and assure him that she was real.
Question time now. What question to ask first? Well he wanted to protect his village right? He might as well start with how to become a Rider so he could protect it. But his thoughts were everywhere and a flood of questions came out.
"How do you become a Rider? Is it enough to touch the dragon or do you have to train to become one? Where does a Rider's power come from? How long will it take for my dragon to be big enough to fly?" he asked.
