The idea of grabbing a bite to eat sounded pleasant, she could use a bit of nourishment. It had been almost 2 days since she had anything.
"Sure, its better than being stuck here all morning. And I have never tried to get rid of them because they were specifically instructed to stay by me," she said as she began to walk back into the city, clasping her hands behind her back. "As tempting it is to slit thier throats, I dont. It's not like they dont have thier practical uses. However they seem to annoy you much more than they annoy me, hmm?"

"Yes, something about them just seems to strike a chord with me. Even if they were half as annoying as they are, I would probably still hate them. There is something about them I just don't like, althought I can't quite explain it..." "Well, enough of them let's just find the closest sanitary tavern and get something to eat..." stated Nihael as he walked alongside Vavrin matching her strides. “Hopefully we can find one that isn’t infested by rodents.”

Vavrin listened to Nihaels thoughts on the twins. He couldnt blame him, the twins werent exactly warm and welcoming when they met him. Then again, they didnt give off the impression of being very personable at all.
"Right, good idea. Ah, theres a pub around the corner," she said, motioning to the left. "Theres also a small bakery about 2 blocks down, whether they have rodents is yet to be seen... Either way I dont mind. Whatever you want to do."

"I think I will go with the pub, I haven't had a pint in a long time. I could do with a good stiff drink. Might temper my anger towards those twits." stated Nihael as he headed towards the pub. "Out of curiosity, what brought you to Gil'ead in the first place?" asked Nihael as they walked towards the pub to fill in the silence that had fallen over the group.

Vavrin followed Nihael towards the nearby pub. Strangely enough, she noticed 3 horses tied up by the entrance. What the... Vavrin thought.
As she neared the entrance she heard a loud SNAP! and a few crashing noises after that. The pub door was swinging on its hinges and Vavrin paused. "Something's going on in there. This should prove interesting."
Vavrin kicked the door open with the heel of her boot and stood, scanning the room. It appeared to be in total disarray. There was a support beam that had given way, tables were overturned, drinks spilt and smashed in thier glasses, and a few broken peices of chair legs. Amoungst the dust, she made out 2 very familiar forms.

The twins spun and faced Vavrin. They raised their weapons and swung it around, knocking over broken tables and breaking the floor apart. Yin and Yang dashed quickly towards Vavrin, weapons raised and swung down, stopping a few inches from their face. "Hello!" they said happily and fell foward slightly, lowering their weapons as they stumbled. Yin turned quickly and swung his staff behind him, knocking a large butcher knife away. A large man in an apron stood in the back doorway, his arm bleeding and his lip cracked. Yang was already on him before the man could turn around. "Tisk tisk!"
The man let out a quick scream before his head came off. Yang stumbled off the man and into a chair next to Yin. "Whaaaaazup?" they said happily, swinging a large flask around.

Nihael was followed Vavrin in and into the debris filled room, kicking past a chair that had been rent in half and various other pieces of furniture strewn around the room. "This does not look like an ordinary fight, magic was involved, it is the only way I can accou..." Nihael trailed off as he saw the Shade's back stiffen as she was looking among the wreckage. Peering in the same direction, Nihael spotted the twins standing covered in a fine layer of dust. He watched with disdain as they drunkenly charged the man at the back doorway.
"Whaaaaazup?"
"Bloody hell! Is this what you useless cretins have been doing while we were waiting? Drinking and ripping apart taverns?" Nihael was forced to sidestep a beam crashing down from the ceiling. "Fools! Get out of here quickly before this places comes crashing down on our heads." shouted Nihael as he briskly strode out of the tavern.

Vavrin's eyes widened at the twin's behaviour. "Hello? What the- I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TWO FOR HOURS!!!" she yelled, eyes flashing dangerously. Vavrin stared at the flask they were carrying and scowled angrily. The odor of liquor emitting from the two was very noticeable, and it only infuriated her more.
The Shade looked over at the bodyless head and said, "I demand answers. Now!"

Yang leaned on his seat as the legs broke and spun around on a small circle. He stoo up quickly as he drew his sword, cutting a piece of falling ceiling in half. Yin took a quick dash at Vavrin and grabbed her by the side and pulling her outside. Yang followed quickly cracking another support beam on his way out. It snapped as he left and the rest of the building tumbled. Yin and Yang started laughing loudly as they swung the flasks in the air. "You shouldn't yell so loudly!" they said, laughing. "You'll tear a building down with your yellings."
Yin and Yang took a breather and opened the flask, taking a gulp from it as they passed it back and forth. "An eeeeexplaination!" they said, waving the flask at Vavrin and spilling some on the floor. "Well... we ran into these people! And they tried taking our horseys so we went and beats them up! And then we tooks their stuffs, but there wasn't anything good, so we just took this flask. Grape juice! Hehe, it was delicious."
Yin held out the flask to Vavrin, the smell of grape wine flowing out of the bottle. "We think it might have gone bad... hehe. Oh! But then we got dizzy so we went into the bar and these people yelled at us so we beats them up. Beats them up goooood."

Before Vavrin could say anything else, she found herself outside as the building crumbled, and was being put down by Yin. She adjusted her top and stared at them for a moment. She wasnt used to seeing them so... drunk. Behaving so oddly.
The twins staggered around in their drunken stupor, almost splashing Vavrin's top with thier flask. She listened to what they said and had to bite her tongue from yelling and cutting them off mid-sentance.
"At least you got the horses, anyway... Im assuming you didnt do something stupid and pay for them." She paused and looked at the horses, two fine jet black horses and a snowy-white one.
Vavrin took the flask from Yin and smelled it. It smelled kind of musky. She took a small sip from it, allowing herself to savor the taste. It wasnt that bad, but she didnt fancy any more. She handed it back to Yin and leaned in to them both. "Augh, you two smell aweful. What did you do, bathe in the "grape juice" too?"

Yin and Yang gave a little laugh. Yang nudged Yin with the handle of his sword. "The fight, we got it going and then we fought allll the way down stairs into the cellar thinger," they said, still laughing as they tried to remember what had happened. "And then we knocked a few people into the barrels! Grape juice eeeeverywhere! But it tasted good."
Yang hopped onto one of the white horses and patted it's bottom. Yin hopped onto the black one and pressed his head against the horse's. "Yes, yes! We got the horses! Go horsey!" Yang held out his hand like the horse's head was above his bottom and he kicked slightly. The horse let out a slight ninny and trotted in a circle. Yin fell asleep against his horse.

Vavrin watched Yin hop on his horse. It was actually kind of cute to see him act like this. Vavrin didnt know if she could stay angry at them, as much as she wanted to.
She walked over to her horse, which was jet black as well. She ran her fingers the his mane and touched his conciousness. She hopped on swiftly, swinging her right leg over and and took the reins in her hands. She directed her as of yet unamed horse over to Yin's and gave him a good prod to awaken him. "C'mon, then..." she sighed.

Nihael quietly stood slightly apart from the trio watching with disgust upon his face.
You have gotten us grouped with these two morons? They should be lucky if I do not end up roasting them...
Believe me, the only thing holding me back from lopping of their heads is that they work for Galbatorix.
You could always "accidentaly" kill them when we attack the village, or say they got killed out of their stupidity.
I shall just let Galbatorix deal with them as he wishes, I don't have time to get pulled under by useless beaurocracy.
"These fools better be sharp when we go to deal with the town otherwise they might end up blowing themselves up. Not that it would be much of a loss, but I would rather not have to explain their demise to Galbatorix." stated Nihael to the Shade, the disdain dripping from his voice.

The Shade furrowed her brow as she looked down at Nihael from her horse. "Yeah, wait until tomorrow when they are hungover. I suppose their silly attitudes will disappear in the blink of an eye. I doubt they will remember a thing... Should we head off, now?" she looked over to the twins as they barely stayed on mount. Leave it to both of them to fall off mid-trot.
She continued to poke Yin, this time with the tip of her dagger. She trotted over to Yang and gave him a bit of a slap on the face to bring him to focus.

"Fine, I'll stay above and a bit ahead to scout out for any possible danger or obstacles. Are you sure you can keep these two..." said Nihael motioning with his hands towards the Twins, "... in check? I would hate to have to track them down should they ride off into the forest." With that, Nihael tied the last remaining pieces of his gear onto Onyxia and swiftly hopped up onto her back. "Unless there is anything else, we should start off. And also, if you should need me for whatever reason, my mind is open, so just search for me and you should be able to get through."

Vavrin nodded. She had a last minute idea, so she dismounted and rummaged in the twin's bags. She looked for rope but there was none. She also nicked a bit of fruit when they werent looking, her stomach panged angrily as she took a bite out of it. The taste of it flooded her mouth, she hadnt realized how hungry she actually was. She finished it and tossed it aside.
"You wouldnt happen to have any rope, Nihael? I think we should strap them down so they dont unintentionally fall off. Also, to keep them from wandering off somewhere, they need to be kept close beside or behind my horse as I follow you."

"As a matter of fact I do." Nihael hopped down off Onyxia and removed the coil of rope strapped to the saddle. He strode over to Vavrin and helped her tie up the Twins, during the course of which he found himself brushing up against her.
Watch yourself. I won't have you going soft and mushy on me.
Bah. You should know I wouldn't go soft.
Really?
Tchach[/i]
"There I don't think they will be able to fall out of their saddles, as a matter of factm I don't think they will be able to move much at all. Should make your trip alot more pleasant." With an exagerrated bow, Nihael turned round and swiftly jumped back onto Onyxia, and several peasants scattered in fear as she dug her hind legs into the street and leapt off the ground, ripping up part of the road. Within moments, she seemed a bird circling in the sky.

Vavrin watched as Nihael and Onyxia disappeared into the sky to the mere size of a speck. She snickered aloud at the sight of the immobilized twins, then mounted her steed and gave gave him a nudging with her boot heel. She trotted at a slow pace at first as she exited the gates, not stopping to give a last look. The twin's horses obediantly followed, as they had no other choice but to, for they were bound to her own horse.
She sped up the pace a bit, enjoying the wind in her long layered hair. She longed to go faster, but was tolerant of a moderate speed. She attempted to enter the minds of the twins again, but all she felt was fuzziness and haze. They seemed to be drifting in and out of conciousness. Vavrin decided to let them sleep for the time being.
She gazed down at her horse. Hmm... time to think up a name for you, my dark friend. With nothing better to do, she tried to think of a name.

Nihael let his mind merge with Onyxia's as they were flying through the air, occasionally secreting small portions of his energy in the gem in his sword's hilt and the gem belt around his waist. Keeping an eye out for any possible obstacles, he noticed nothing but cattle grazing in farmlands outside the cities walls. Rising higher, he noticed naught but a few carts, carriages and horses on the roads.
So far things seem to be good, the roads and skies are clear for as far as we can see.
Yes, other than a few mishaps before setting out, Fortune seems to be with us.
Hopefully it will stay that way.

Yin slowly woke up and smiled at Vavrin as Yang’s horse came around. Yin and Yang leaned against the horse, their ropes pulling them back slightly. Their hands touched the horses' head and their mind brushed against the horse’s consciousness, letting their mind bond for a quick moment. Knowing their riders were drunk, they followed Vavrin obediently. Yin and Yang let out a deep yawn and shook their heads. "Are we there yet..." Yin and Yang said, in and out of their sleeping modes. Yin and Yang stiffened and looked around. Yin turned his head towards the sky as Yang began to sniff around a bit. "Looks like rain..."
