Tian gasped as her necklace glowed hot against her chest, as she looked apron her sister for the first time in over a year. The horse by Lyf's side reared in fright as Arkantos swept by her, and Lyf stumbled back into the light. Suddenly Lyf looked up sensing her twin's gaze, and a smile spread across her face.
Tian sagged against the window sill thinking, /how am I going to get down there like this?/ Suddenly a surge of energy flowed through her body, and Tian's gaze jerked to her sister. She grinned up at her holding her necklace in one hand, and her horses reigns in the other.
Tian laughed, really laughed for the first time in a long time. Tristan! she called with her mind and launched herself out of the window. She landed in a crouch, then shot up and started running. Tian was no elf, but she could run.
As she dashed by her twin Tian brushed her hand and thought, Lyf, Darkmoon, Amberfire, and Moon are in the stable...I missed you... Taring herself away from her sister Tian dashed along the ground, her eyes glued on Tristan and Icefyre in the sky.

Tristan felt Tian in his mind. His adrenaline surged and he ordered Icefyre to halt. He wheeled around, scared that Tian was in danger.Icefyre sped toward the running figure and stopped next to her.
"What is it?"he aske,"Are you okay?"

Tian laughed and jumped up, catching Tristan in a hug. "I am suddenly perfect!" she said her honey eyes sparkling with joy and new fire. "Sorry if I worried you... she gasped, breathing hard after her run, but her arms were still around Tristan. Tian had called Tristan, hoping he could explain what was going on with Arkantos. She had certainly not planned what happened next. She wasn't sure what she was doing, but suddenly, her lips were pressed softly against Tristan's.
Lyf watched her sister go and couldn't hold back a laugh, that was just like her sister. I missed you too... she thought as she watched her sister's bright red hair disappear. Lyf's dark brown eyes widened as she felt the emotion in her sisters mind. She promptly wrenched herself out of her sister's mind, she did not need to know about that part of her sister's life just yet. Turning on her heel she ran into the barn, leaving Ezra to graze. Catching sight of her beloved sorrel mare who she hadn't seen in much too long, Lyf flung her arms around Amberfire's neck holding back tears.
Lyf swung herself onto Amberfire's bare back, and laughed as Moon, her sister's kitten, leaped up in her lap. "Hello to you too," she said as she nudged Amberfire out her stall, and flipped Darkmoon's stall door open. The black stallion trotted out, and Lyf led him, much more slowly, after her sister.

Tristan tightned is arms around Tian and kissed her back. All thoughts of Arkantos was forgotten. All thoughts of everything were forgotten. He didn't know how long it lasted, a couple of seconds or a couple of years.
He broke off the kiss.
"Wow,"he said speachless.
What just happened?,Icefyre asked.
Tristan ignored her.

Tian blinked for a moment as her breathing slowed, and the hot blush faded from her cheeks. After a few moments in which her mind was foggy with surprise and pleasure, she looked back at Tristan. Her eyes searched his, and a shy smile played across her lips. She hadn't meant to kiss him, but she had liked it...and he had kissed her back. "The funny thing is that we've only known each other about a day," she said ignoring Icefyre's gaze and went on, "and yet I don't really care." With that said she leaned forward and once again pressed her lips to Tristan's.

(ooooo! Romance! Kissy kissy! lol)
Vedrit was chasing after Arkantos when he lost sight of him. Swearing and cursing, Vedrit turned around and stomped off to the inn.
"Sonya, I've lost him. I cant even give you a hint as to where he might be." He told Sonya, defeated "We will have to be careful, incase he tells the Empire. This wouldnt sit well with Galbortrix."

"Verdit needs-," Tristan was cut off as Tian kissed him again. After a minute or two they finally broke apart.
"Verdit can take care of himself,"he said with a small smile.
Are you going to tell me what happened,Icefyre asked.
We kissed,Tristan said simply.
This will never work Tristan! I thought you knew better than this! She is a human. You will outlive her by a hundred years!,Icefye almost yelled.
I will deal with that when the time comes. For now I will live in the moment.,Tristan replied.
Icefyre calmed down a little.It is your choice Tristan. I don't want you to get hurt.
I can take care of myself!

Tian smiled as she pulled back slightly her cheeks glowing warmly, and her lips tingling. Then she frowned seeing Tristan's face darken, she pulled back a little more, but kept her arms around him. Sensing something going on between dragon and rider Tian cocked her head, her honey eyes quizzical. "Is something wrong?" she asked.

As Vedrit neared the inn, he took a step past Tristan and Tian, then froze. Slowly turning on his heel, he faced them. He was some what, some how, suprized. Blinking a couple times, he continued on his way, wondering what had just occured.

Arkantos walked back into the light of the moon, his ring glaring angrily as he siphoned off his emotion into the trinket around his neck. It seemed to like his rage, for some reason. Shaking off his distraction, he observed the two young lovers and Tian's sister being reunited from the cover of a tree.
"My sister...If only you were here, too." He thought sorrowfully, as he reentered the group. Following the newcomer, he found her in the stable, across from Wingfoot, who was anxious at all of the emotions running high. After all, he was a warhorse.
"Felicitations, lady sorceress. The friend of my friend is my friend, as they say in my country. I am pleased to meet you." He greeted the girl with a small bow as she got a horse out of it's stall. Please alert the others that I am headed for Yazuac with or without them, and that their lives will be short if they take the time now for personal business. I know that truth for myself..." So saying, the warrior summoned his things from his room with magic and saddled and mounted his steed, trotting off into the shadows of the woods...

Tristan suddenly realized the sense of Icefyre's words. She was a human. He was an elf. Nothing like that had ever happened before and for good reason. He stepped back from Tian, almost shoving her in is haste. He turned and leaped onto Iceyre's back.
"I am sorry," he said quietly. He took off and disapeared , almost invisible against the dark backdrop of night.
